    Hi Modx Community,

    Nubie here so please bear with me...

    Setting up a new modx site and slowly getting my head around wayfinder. I have encountered a problem though.

    I have a generic page for arguments sake ’contact us’ it will always be the same. I have two two top level menu items ’Service one’ and ’Service two’. I can set up two contact us pages and add one under each menu option in the document hierarchy but this seems not the best way to do it and also would involve updating two pages of the same content.

    So I would like to know the best way to have a single page show multiple times in a menu basically.

    I have played with adding a ’weblink’ to the document hierarchy as opposed to a page resource but with little success as they didn’t show in the menu at all.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

      It sounds like a weblink is what you want. Make sure the weblink is published.

        @Bob Ray

        Yeah I have definitely published it...

        To further clarify:

        Site is:
        http://spacetechexpo.com/modx3/ If you see the links in the footer are showing all the page resources but the top menu skips ’weblinks’

        (Exhibitors in the top menu is missing floorplan)

        The wayfinder code embedded in my template is:

        [[Wayfinder?startId=`0` &outerTpl=`mh.OuterTpl` &innerTpl=`mh.InnerTpl` &rowTpl=`mh.RowTpl` &innerRowTpl=`mh.InnerRowTpl` &sortBy=`id` &sortOrder=`desc` &firstClass=`first` &hereClass=`here`]]

        The code to produce the links in the footer is:
         [[Ditto? &parents=`2` &tpl=`bottom-nav-item` &orderBy=`menuindex ASC`]]

        I have ’inherited’ a very similar site produced by another developer and he replicates one page twice in the menu by setting a a new page and replicating the content using ’ditto’ however this also does not seem like the best way to go.

        Any help at all appreciated!

        Kind regards,
        Steve

            @Sylvaticus

            Hi thanks for the quick responce

            The weblink is marked to show in the menu.

            With regards to where is was in the document tree

            I have three top level menu items

            Visitors / exhibitors / press

            and it was underneith exhibitors such as ’why exhibit’ and ’sponsorship’ in the blow link

            Thanks
