Does anyone know if its possible to specify which context Wayfinder uses?

At the moment [[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` ]] just goes to the root of the "web" context, and I can’t find a way to specify another context.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated smiley

      Hi,
In a sense, if you’ve properly set up your Contexts, Wayfinder doesn’t need to know about the context. That regular menu call will display that context’s documents, and will ignore the "web" context.

You can test that by previewing the document that you’ve designated as the "site_start" of that context. It should display just items from that context. If not, you may want to review the settings for that context.

I can, however, think of a use for what you’re describing. For instance, if you wanted to pull the documents from your other Context into the web Context, that could be useful in some situations. I’ve seen several questions related to that recently. And I don’t think Wayfinder currently has any ability to point to a particular context, unless someone has just added it.

      Hope that helped some.

Hmm, I explained that incorrectly - [[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0`]] goes to the root of its parent context - which is the correct and expected behaviour.

But I needed it to pull in the documents from another context; e.g. &startId=`0` of the "web" context when I’m in the "dev" context.

At the moment the only solution I can think of would be to make a bunch of "weblink" Resources in the "dev" context which WayFinder can read and construct the navigation - only it wouldn’t be a mirror of the "web" contexts navigation or anything and would need to manually updated when any changes are made to the "web" contexts navigation; so that idea is not ideal.

Any other ideas would be appreciated...
