    Hi guys,

    Revo 2.0.7-pl (traditional)
    Apache
    PHP 5+ / MYSQL 5+

I’m trying to add a User Setting for an editor user to set the filemanager_path to /myroot/assets/
I dont want my editor being able to see anything outside of this.

When I update the user and add a new setting:
    Key: filemanager_path
    Name: filemanager_path
    Value: /myroot/assets/
Description: The patch the the editors root.

When I save the entry is added as a User Setting, however:
    1. It does nothing. When I Flush all permissions and session, and log in as the editor, I can still see the root of my site, IE im not taking /assets/ as root.
    2. If I try and update the setting above:
    - The Name field changes to "setting_filemanager_path"
    - The Description field changes to "setting_filemanager_path_desc"

Is this a bug? It’s not remembering my details.
I can live with the above, I guess my main concern is why the filemanager_path is not working for the resource browser?

    Thanks in advance guys..

    J

Update: Also in the System Setting the narrative for this setting reads:
"IIS often does not populate the document_root setting properly"
There is no document_root setting I can see, I assume this is referring to filemanager_path?
If so the text is incorrect.

Try to also set the filemanager_url, rb_base_dir and rb_base_path.
