« MODx Parse Error » while moving site

Hi all,

I created a modxcms site locally, running on Wamp. I’m using evolution 1.0.5

I backed up the DB and zipped all the files. Then created a new database on the live server and ran the backup(sql script) against the new DB.
Then uplaoded the zipped file and extracted all the files to the root. Edited the config file and amended the DB connection details.

When i go to the site i get the following error:

I also updated the modx_system_settings table and changed the rb_base_dir and filemanager_path urls.

Have moved many sites but have never had this issue before.

Looks like it’s looking for some of your old paths. Try running MODx installer again on the new site but in upgrade mode. That should clean up the paths.

Ok there’s one little error.

« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '
      SQL: SELECT rating_id as 'params', rating as 'nbStars', lastIP as 'atrTpl', nbIP, voteDate as 'endDate' FROM modx_atRating_

I get this error when trying to view the contents of the advertising category

I don’t see that error when I open the advertising category page. It just comes up with no entries, but there’s no parse error. See the screenshot attached. Is that the page you’re referring to?

check your phx installation again.
