Quick Friendly URL Question: Page alias AND Page Alias with Alias Path

Hi Modxers, a quick Friendly URL Question:

Is it possible to have ALL THREE of these work simultaneously?

• Default URL: http://fubar.com/index.php?id=23
• Page Alias: http://fubar.com/child.html
• Page Alias & Alias Path: http://fubar.com/parent/child.html

The first and third URLs work fine together of course. But is there a way to have the 2nd URL work with them as well?

No, if alias paths are set you’ll need to have the path as part of the URL when accessing the page, and the path will be generated as part of the URL. After all, child.html could be a totally different page than parent/child.html, and how is MODx to know differently?
