Call to a member function getTVValue() on a non-object

Hello all,

Converting to Revo, I understand from other topics that the new format to pull a template variable into a snippet is as follows:

$tv_value = $resource->getTVValue(’tvnamehere’);

However I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTVValue() on a non-object in /var/www/xxx/core/cache/elements/modsnippet/24.include.cache.php on line 7

Any thoughts?
