    Hi Community!

First of all my ModX Setup:
    MODX (1.0.4)
    php Version 5.2.1.1

    Now my problem:
Several weeks ago i created a website for a mate (http://www.pongratz-touristik.at).
Some weeks later he told me that he wasn’t able to find his homepage at google.
So I made a check and realized that the bot can’t reach the site (500 Internal Server Error). Quite a strange story beacause you can access the website without any problems via firefox or any other browser.
Looking for answers, i googled that problem and was reading in several forums and finally i found a possible solution (
    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=58970.0).

In this threat it was mantioned, that i should check the internal error log of ModX and so i did.
In the log i saw that there were several hundret errors, everytime the same ones -> see the code snippets below.

    PHX:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /kunden/xxxx_xxxx/web/xxx/2010/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(746) : eval()'d code on line 1

    phx:phpthumb - Plugin:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_NS_SEPARATOR, expecting T_STRING in /kunden/xxxx_xxxx/web/xxx/2010/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(746) : eval()'d code on line 25

How should i solve this 2 Problems and will it help to get the homepage into the google index?

    thx

    M.

Sounds like a snippet or a plugin with an extra <?php in the code. Plugins should not have <?php at the beginning of the code; snippets should have one.

Whether they are both connected to the phx phpthumb extension I don’t know.
