OK just trying out MODx for the first time and I have installed ditto as requested by the template I am using.

    The site is currently www.hhctv.co.uk/beta2

As you can see along the right I have "No documents found." so I created a new document and published it and it didn’t work? Still nothing showed? So I created another and the same? What I was wanting was like a blog so when I post something it comes into news on the right and then if I click news in the nav bar it shows everything? and not just the latest 5?

I basically want it to look like the template preview! Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I go to Resources>New Document and then fill in what I need to?

    Teplate page - http://modxd.com/new1-template.html

Any help will be greatly appreciated! I see no new tabs etc since installing Ditto?

      Hi,
as I can see from the template you have this instruction:

      [[Ditto? &parents=`2` &total=`3` &dateSource=`pub_date` &dateFormat=`%B %m, %Y` &tpl=`NewsDittoTpl` ]]

so Ditto is looking for documents inside your resource with ID=2.
Are you sure you are creating new document inside resource "2"?
You should also check that documents are published.

Not sure? When i post a new document I have
        Test(1)
        News (2)
        Heloo(4)

That’s it? Sorry If I am being stupid?

Ok, I tried changing the number 2 to a 1 as I clearly have something there and still no luck?

I think you should create the document inside News (2).
            So leave the number parents=`2`
and, click with the right button over News (2), and create here a new document.
            let me know
