MAMP help

trying to load the beta to play with it and got this during installation:

MODx found your memory_limit setting to be below the recommended setting of 32M. MODx attempted to set the memory_limit to 32M, but was unsuccessful. Please set the memory_limit setting in your php.ini file to 32M or higher before proceeding.

can someone please tell me how to do this? thanks

For anyone finding this later, I was able to increase memory to 32M following advice posted in the threads above, but it still didn’t work.

what finally worked was switching from PHP 4 to PHP 5 in MAMP --> Preferences --> PHP
