    Background: I’ve never used MODX before, I’ve recently been asked to look into our companies website and assign some meta data.
    Looking over the web it appears there should be three tabs for a page General, Settings and Meta Data - I have the first three but can’t see the third.

    Is something buggy, is my account lacking permissions, has anyone else had this happen before?

    MODx version 1.0.4
    Version codename rev 6981
    Database Version 5.0.91-community
    Database Charset latin1
    Database Collation Charset latin1_swedish_ci

      As far as I can remember that was removed and is not in 1.0.4 but I might be wrong huh

      For me I always create 2 text template variables and assign them to every template " keywords" and " description" and add the meta details to them, then in your templates mete area call them in as:
      <meta name="keywords" content="[*keywords*]" />
      <meta name="description" content="[*description*]" />

        Paulp is correct, the Meta tag (built in meta functionality) is depreciated due to inefficency and such.

        If you need meta tags it’s suggested to use MetaX or TV’s as needed (as per paulp’s suggestion).
