Gallery Help

Hi there, have been using Modx for a while now and have fully grasped getResources, Getpage etc. However I am trying to get the gallery snippet to work for a new project and am seriously struggling to get my head round it. I have been going through the documentation on wiki but this seems to be confusing me even more.

The end product I am after is for the user to create new gallerys with an album thumbnail on one page with album title, date of album and venue of album which clicks through to the thumbnails of the album, once the thumbnails are clicked it shows the full image with the ability to scroll through the album. i don’t need any gallerific features...

Can someone point me out towards a good tutorial or give me instructions on what to do per page. Can you use template variables for the date and venue??? Apologies, a man in need

Is that dramatic warning on the Lazyload page a concern?

It seems to be working in most browsers, so I have no idea why he put that message up. No reason is given.

Its a pretty strong message though?

Can you shed some light on why you used it? How would things in your article change if Lazyload was not used?

My apologies if this is taking the OP’s question off course. I am also interested in seeing more clear instructions on the Gallery snippet.

Seems that the latest browsers(or some of them) do not work with the jquery lazy load
