I am using the ajaxsearch facility to drive the search facilities on my site. however, as soon as i put the call to the ajaxsearch snippet it stops several javascripts functions on the page. the search facility seems to be working fine, but things like moving images are now static, and sliders are not displaying properly at all.
does anyone know why ajax interferes with javascript, and what i need to do (presumably some sort of code i need to put in the head section)to correct this problem?

Just a small addition. I was able to find a bit more information, it appears to be a conflict that is fixed in the ajaxsearch 1.9.0. However, i am using revolution 1.0.3 at the moment and apparently the latest ajaxsearch only works in evo. is there an upgrade of ajaxsearch that works in revo, and if not is there a get around for this conflict problem between ajaxsearch and javascript?
also, to clarify the javascipt functions i am using are jquery, so i don’t know if the conflict is with javascript of jquery specifically.
