I went to backup a database (Tools > Backup) and when trying to display the db tables in the browser it’s throwing the following PHP error. I’ve also included a screenshot to this post.

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /nfs/c07/h04/mnt/111068/domains/domainname.com/html/manager/actions/bkmanager.static.php on line 121

Has anyone run across this before? The front end of the site seems to be working fine. P.S. I’m running 1.0.4 and for what it’s worth it’s hosted at Media Temple. Thank you in advance for any help!

Hmm... SHOW TABLE STATUS requires that the database user has show_db privileges; there appears to be a bug related to this on some versions of MySQL that may be using an awkward permissions setting workaround rather than just updating the database.

It would be interesting to run a test .php file that runs that query and see exactly what the response is. Or run it directly from the phpMyAdmin "sql" tab. It also may be that one or more of the tables are corrupted.

Thanks, Susan! You’re always "to the rescue" and STAT. Like a tool I posted this before checking the server status at Media Temple and sure enough, I couldn’t access phpMyAdmin and that’s because, well it’s an issue they’re currently working on. At least the site’s working currently! Thanks again!!
