OK, what am I doing wrong here?

    Using

    • Revolution 2.0.7-pl traditional
    • getResources 1.2.2-pl

Here’s my tpl chunk code, everything’s coming through except the content of the specific post. The introtext will display if the post has any, but the content does not show on any of the others. The content doesn’t show if I use it on its own either, so it’s not just a matter of me having something wrong in the conditional -- I can’t get the content to show at all. {waaaaa} wink

    <b>* <a href="[[~[[+id]]]]" title="[[+pagetitle]]">
    <big>[[+pagetitle]]</big></a></b> on [[+publishedon:strtotime:date=`%Y %m %d`]]
     [[+introtext:default=`[[+content:ellipsis=`400`]]`]]<br/><br/>

      Becca,
I tried your chunk code, and it works nicely for me, showing the content. In other words, your syntax is just great. On the second go-round, I even tried a longer page, and the ellipsis thingie is working, too. I have my pages cached, too, so it’s apparently not as if you need to un-cache them, like Ditto sometimes needs.

I’m using Revo 2.07, which is by no means perfect, but I suppose it’s possible that in the intervening releases something may have changed. I have the same GetResources version as you.

Sorry not to have a quick fix. Maybe somebody else may comment.

      Cheers, Dave

Sorry, my Revo version is 2.0.7-pl, can’t seem to type today.

Thanks for trying and reporting. I am considering a fresh code install as the forms customization bit doesn’t seem to have all the options it’s supposed to either so maybe something went awry with the upgrade.

You did download and install getResources, right? smiley

Paste your getResources tag into a reply. Maybe we’ll notice something.

{lol} "yes, the power’s on" wink Everything from the tpl chunk is being displayed, except for the text of content. But here’s the chuck code that calls the getResources snippet just in case it’s helpful. Can’t hurt at any rate!

Try adding this (smacking your forehead is optional): wink

              &includeContent=`1`
