    Hi all,

My colleagues and I are looking at Modx revolution for a reasonably large e-commerce website that serves about 5 countries/languages (and counting) under different domains.

Basicly, what we need to be able to do is run all domains under a single installation of revolution and serve the same content in different languages under different urls from the same page. Consider this scenario:

    www.mysite.com/underwear/boxershort
    www.meinsite.de/unterwaesche/boxer
    www.monsiteweb.fr/sous-vetements/boxer-homme

All these urls should point at the same page (document), this page should be accessible from whithin the manager under the same document tree.

    The questions we have are:
    A. Can this be done (easily) with revolution?
    B. The total amount of pages in this scenario would be around 1200, served in (at least) 5 languages. How will revolution’s caching mechanism hold up to this?

    Your input is greatly appreciated.

I don’t do Revo, but I know enough about it to know Revo can do this with no problems. See "contexts". And possibly the Babel add-on.

Thanks for your input Sottwell, we’re looking in to babel and contexts right now.
