Getting Started with ModX

Thanks again for everyone’s help. So far, I got the news page working just the way I want and I even added MaxiGallery to see how it worked. Blew me away. Had it up and running in 10 minutes. I’m pretty much planning all of my future sites for ModX. Can’t wait to dig deeper.

The one thing I’m still not clear on and haven’t found a simple explanation is the login issue. I need to allow members of the site login to a member page simply to view it’s contents. This will be a shared password. I guess I’m missing something on the explanation that I’ve gotten already. I also think this should be the page that the editors use to login, but then they will have access to page editing.

So, if anyone can shed some light on this, that would be great. If not, I’ll keep plugging away. I can’t imagine it’s hard. Nothing else has been so far.
