    Hi,

In my MODx site i have 2 different accounts, admin (this is my account) and client (client’s account). I managed to hide things like elements tab and system tab from client. Now I want to limit his access to some folders. I tried to add filemanager_path, by creating a new user setting, but this did’t work. Is there a possible way to show/hide different folders for different users?

    Thanks!

      I have the same problem.
I’ve created a new user setting for filemanager_path
      and tried:
      /assets
      /home/username/public_html_/assets

If I use /assets under system settings this works but is obviously global and not just for the user

Is there something I’m doing wrong to limit folders in the file tree for users?

This is a bug since 2.0.5 - there are various threads relating to it.

Assuming you have FTP access, you don’t really need manager access to the rest of the install, so I’d set it at a site > system settings level.
