Can't Log In

I have Modx revolution 2.0.5 installed and was working perfectly. I did not have my domain resolved so I installed on a URL like this: http://70.86.365.71/~MYUSERNAME/

Now that the domain name is resolved this should just be: http://www.MYDOMAINNAME.com/

My problem is that every since I changed the admin URL from the first to the now normal domain name, I cannot log in with either of my usernames, passwords. I even tried the forget password option but it’s not registering either of my e-mails. I am guessing I need to change a config file somehwere? Or can I go directly into my database to find and change this. Please help.

P.S. The front end of the website shows just fine with the new domain name. It’s the admin area that is not working and logging me in yet.

Have you completely cleared your browser cache and cookies for the domain?

I did so in internet expolorer. And also did a hard refresh. This may help: when I try to log in now I do not get an error (if the password is correct), it just redirects back to the login page.

Try running setup in upgrade mode using the new domain name:

http://www.MYDOMAINNAME.com/setup
