My company uses web user for our clients. When we make a proposal for a client we upload the pdf and relevant products specs to a specific page for that client where he can download all the docs.
I have all the products pdfs in their own dir on the box and everytime I copy the docs from that folder into the client page where filedownload snippet displays the content of the client directory. This is obviously a bad route and my box is filled with repeating content.
I wanted to have a TV or snippet that will let me choose (check box for multiselect) the product files I want to add to the client and display just a link to the relative document.
I was wondering maybe someone ever did something like that or have pointers.

This sounds very similar to what I need at the moment.
I have a directory of files and list of users that I want to be able to easily manage which of those files they have access to.
Did your solution do that? If so can you please share.
