I have the following page set up in MODX 2.0.4.pl2:

    Page 1
    Page 2
    	Page 2a
    	Page 2b
    	Page 2c
    	Page 2d
    	Page 2e
    	Page 2f
    Page 3
    Page 4
    Page 5
    	Page5a
    	Page5b
    	Page5c
    	Page5d
    	Page5e
    	Page5f
    Page 6

Pages 1,2,3 and 4 should show the sub menu of pages found under the resource ’Page 2’
Pages 5 and 6 shoukd show the sub menu of pages found under the resource ’Page 5’

    I am using Wayfinder

I have this snippet call to make the sub menu
    [[!Wayfinder?
    	&startId=`[[$subMenuID]]`
    	&level=`1`
    	&fullLink=`true`
    ]]

where the chunk ’subMenuID’ is given by

    [[!if?
    	&subject=`[[*parent]]`
    	&operator=`equal`
    	&operand=`0`
    	&then=`[[*subMenuID]]`
    	&else=`[[!parentTV? &id=`[[*id]]`&TV=`subMenuID`]]`
    ]]

Pages 1,2,3 and 4 have a TV called subMenuID with a value of 2 (the parent resource of the sub menu required on those pages)

As it stands, I do NOT see the sub menu

If I hard code `2` into the wayfinder call then I get the sub menu
If I put a call to the chunk in outside the wayfinder call, I see "2" (without quotes) displayed on the final page

So I know that the snippet call works, and I know that the chunk call works - so why does the combined call not work?

I was looking up things like ’Max template Passes’ which makes sense, but the only documention I found was for MODx Evo and did not apply to Revo (I did check to see if the fix would work or not, but Evo and Revo are different in this area - as well as many others;) ).
