I enabled friendly URLs properly, but the outcome was not as expected.
I was getting:
http://www.modxrocks.com/page
Instead of
http://www.modxrocks.com/page.html
When using [*alias*] (Evo) or [[*alias]] (Revo) in pages, Ditto or getResources.
The answer is that instead of using:
On page:
Evo: [*alias*], use [~[*id*]~]
Revo: [[*alias]], use [[~[[*id]]]]
As placeholder (Ditto, getResources):
Evo: [+alias+], use [~[+id+]~]
Revo: [[+alias]], use [[~[[+id]]]]
