    Hi,
I think ive done everything in the documentation. My .htaccess looks like this but friendly urls are still not working. I’m hosting on godaddy and the .htaccess file is being parsed.

    Please help!

    # Vital components of your .htaccess file
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /

    # Force “www.yourdomain.com” instead of just “yourdomain.com”
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} .
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.worldpoverty\.org.uk [NC]
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.worldpoverty.org.uk/$1 [R=301,L]

    # The Friendly URLs part
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]

    BrowserMatch "MSIE" brokenvary=1
    BrowserMatch "Mozilla/4.[0-9]{2}" brokenvary=1
    BrowserMatch "Opera" !brokenvary
    SetEnvIf brokenvary 1 force-no-vary[/i]

Can you just elucidate slightly on what the problem is you’re experiencing? Is it 404 page not found errors?
Also some idea of the hosting environment the site is on can be very illuminating (different hosts can subtly alter the rules needed in the .htaccess file).

I’m no Apache expert (I’m currently having problems with FURLs myself) but I know anyone else good enough to help you will undoubtedly ask for this information.

You might also try posting to the MODx Community Forums / Support / General Support forum. That one tends to be used for these kind of problems.

      All the best,
      Tony.
