I got a website done recently, and the company has gone bust,
my role is an editor, how do I change to an admin, as im worried
for future secuirty. plus I cant make changes.
I have access as an editor, but cant manage to change to admin from
mod-x login. I am using mod-x revoloution.
I own the website.
please help,i cant get hold of the company, and ive only got you guys
if its your site you have access to the database, then create a new password for admin using md5 and place it as password for the admin in the database
now you can login as admin
thank you dimmy, i dont know what md5 is, im new to this
and not really a developer, i have access through the files
through my server go daddy.thanks for you advice, ill do more
research on it and ill try doing it.
