I downloaded and successfully installed ( MODx Revolution 2.0.4-pl2 ). I then went in and created my home page using templates and snippets and what not. I then went to preview my page and all I got was a blank white page with the message ... "Can’t connect to database". I checked my database and the database is there as well as all the tables. I even check that what I had created was actually in the databases. I checked the config file and everything is pointing to the correct place as well. I have used modx before but the only difference is that I am developing a site through a verio VPS host account that is not pointing to a domain yet. It is a redesign so we haven’t pointed the domain to the new server yet. I get there like this for example:
ipaddress/~username/modxdirector/index.php
Anybody seen this issue before?
