What is the best way to add a Youtube video? Do I add it to a chunk? Will Youtube embedding code work with Modx and not get stripped by the editting interface?
thanks,
Daniel
Do you need to embed it once, or many times?
My very low tech approach is to use a textarea template variable with default output. You can also embed it directly in a rich text field using the TinyMCE editor (in HTML mode, and then edit normally), but if you’re simply copying the embed code from Youtube / Vimeo, I don’t see the point.
But if you’re asking the question because you’re coming from Wordpress, no, MODx doesn’t strip tags unless you tell it to. If you use a rich text editor package (ie TinyMCE) then that may do some weird things - as it always has.

Add Youtube video, I used WMM before, but sometimes I can't upload my edited video on youtube,in particular, I spent a long time to do a series of videos, and it makes me very troubling.
