I wanted to add another voice to the multi-context Formit issues. On one domain, I have no problems with Formit. But on any other domain, Formit fails with "An error occurred while trying to send the email. Could not instantiate mail function."
I can upload a straight php file with a mail command to the folder that the other domain points to, and run that mail script without problems, so I know it's not a server configuration issue.
alyainec: It seems like you and I copy/paste our demo forms from the same place. I was initially having the same problem as you—no error message output. You have an extra "error" in your placeholder name:
[[!+fi.error.error_message]]
It should be:
