I’m looking for a way to do this:

    - Page where u can add firstname/lastname/address/email/phone saved into the database.
    - Another page where u can see what fields are added into the database, the overview page.
    - A way to edit the database fields
    - Export the fields into a csv file.

I’d like to use EVO for this. Probably i need to use different snippets/modules.

I think i can use eForm with eFrom2db snippet to save the fields into the database.
But how can i preview the fields, edit them without the use of phpmyadmin and save it into a csv file?

Try WinLoginPE? Mostly for weblogin purposes, but I find the extras this add-on has to be useful like editing profiles, deleting users, and provide an overview of users registered in your site.

I haven’t tried doing that yet, but is it possible to modify WinLoginPE’s output to producing a CSV file (or at least output message) instead of an HTML table?

There’s a lot of discussion posts on this page about creating csv files with a SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE query; use your browser’s search for "csv" on the page.

              http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/select.html

              SELECT ’Fiscal Year’,’Location’,’Sales’
              UNION
SELECT FY, Loc, Sales INTO OUTFILE ’salesreport.csv’
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ’,’ OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY ’"’
              FROM SalesTable;

                Hey mate.

I use WebLoginPE for user management, and am frequently asked for spreadsheets!!!
U guessed correctly, just write a simple SQL query to pull your active (unblocked) users, and export via phpmyadmin...
Go one step further and setup a cronjob of the above and have it mailed to you (job done and u only need to put the work in once!!)

Only downside is that you have to extend the MODx Web User in the manager to let you get at all your custom fields.
I usually just write a separate module to do this.

Any of your custom fields will be in here: modx_web_user_attributes_extended
                Usual stuff is here: modx_web_user_attributes
                Login here: modx_web_users

                  Thanks for ur awnsers.

I’m really a DB noob. It’s really abracadabra for me. I doubt i can make a button to export the DB.
I’m freaking out when seeing the link sottwell gave.

Afterall after talking with client, it doesn’t have to be that "big".

Just need to save some fields saved into a db, that db I’ll just export with phpmyadmin because the client doesn’t need the csv. Afterwards i need to copy and paste some fields (only name and email) into a other "mailingmanager" db.

As Justmeig says there are different db places for custom fields etc. I think i have to use eForm with eFrom2bd snippet to let my fields be saved into 1 db.
