I’m just starting out in modx revo and like what I see so far. One thing though that I’ve not seen any examples of is a way to create Manager panels/menus in the left-hand sidebar below the Resources/Elements/Files div/container. Kind of along the lines of how WordPress handles backend navigation. I’ve been through the CMP tutorials and understand how to use actions and add menu items to the main nav/tabs, but that’s not going to work well for me in the long run when I need to add a bunch of separate panels with their own nav links. Along the lines of WordPress, the custom CMS that I have been using up until now allows me to create as many panels as I need along the left side and add as many links within each panel. Each panel can be collapsed or expanded and a cookie is used to keep track of what is collapsed or expanded so it persists from one session to the next.
I’ve attached an example from my current CMS.
If this is something that is already possible in Revo or if someone is working on a solution to this, any guidance would be most appreciated!
