    Hi everyone!

    I’ve transfered modx site from one server (where it was perfectly working) to another.

    I’ve done:
    - copied all the files to new server
    - fixed mysql settings & 6 paths in core/config file;
    - exported-imported the database
    - fixed path in modx_workspaces table

    so, everything should be working fine, thats not the first time I transfer modx revo

    but - now site is working ok, the manager section is no
    I see this error:
    Could not find action file at: [old path]/manager/controllers/default/welcome.php

    when I try to clear cache - nothing happens (
    Just "console loaded..."
    i’ve waited for 15+ mins, but no progress.

    php code that do that manually also stops on second line
    	include_once "manager/processors/cache_sync.class.processor.php";
    	$sync = new synccache();
    	$sync->setCachepath("assets/cache/");
    	$sync->setReport(true);
    	$sync->emptyCache();

    atm all folders/files set to 777/666

    thx)

      Just delete everything in the core/cache/ directory and make sure core/cache/ itself is writable by the user executing the PHP process in your environment.

      If you are still having problems, try uploading the setup directory for the version you installed (or last updated to) and rerunning setup in the upgrade mode.

        thx, but that help only partially huh

        "Could not find action file at.." is vanished, cache clearing & resourse tab still not working (forgot to mention it before).

        ------

        I think it somehow connected to permissions problem.
        this hoster is security-addicted )))

        my user cannot edit documents created by php process, php cant edit mine (
        i’ve tried to set permissions to files/forders, created by modx, to 664 or 666 (option in the beginning of install) -
        but no luck - the are still 644. Dunno if its modx or hoster feature (

        i have php file, that sets all permissions to highest, also periodically run chmod from shell, but thats not help.

        -------

        clear install works fine...

          Hi

          I have had 3 times already for the same site clear installations because we tested different hostings.

          Each time components refused to work. Reinstall helped for every component but Gallery ((

          May be it is easier to change the settings in the settings files before running modx front-end & back-end on the new hosting / or new hostng directory?

          Thanks
