How do I reduce the width of the search box?

I want to fix the search box area beneath my left side navigation but the search box is too wide and runs into the body copy. Can I set a width on the search area?

Here is the example. You can see the search area is too wide for the left column area.

Hi,
Styling forms is a real chore. This little CSS beauty will get you started.

Default width of "input" is 200px, that’s why you’re getting borked. You might want to get more specific, for instance styling the Go button with #ajaxSearch_submit and so on.

Thanks. I added that and it works.
