    Hi!

I have understand the concept of TV’s. But I need assistance in the correct application of them. Imagine the following scenario:

I want to implement a job fair. Each job is represented as a resource. There are several custom fields like branch of industry or date of begin. So I decided to use TV’s for each field. The most of them are text fields. So far, so good.

But if I implement another feature, like, let’s say, a list of company descriptions. Each company is also represented as a resource. There are also some text fields like a company name or whatever.

Should I create template variables for each component like:
    job_description (text)
    job_name (text)
    job_??? (text)
    ...
    company_name (text)
    company_??? (text)
    ...

or should I reuse the TV’s? Because with the great feature of the "Form Customization" I’m able to rename each label in the manager. And TV’s are per se not bound to a specific conetxt. They are only placeholders.
    In other words:
If have two forms. One with 7 input fields (text) and one with 12, then I need a total of 12 text input fields for the whole website, not 19.

So, where the advantages? How do you structure such a environment? Or is my approach improper across the board?

    Best regards,
    loxy
