Revolution Installed Successfully, blank (white) manager page

I have a hosting account with NearlyFreeSpeech.net:

Apache 2.2
PHP 5.2.12 Fast (safe_mode is on and cannot be turned off)
MySQL 5.0.86

I am using the Traditional Revolution Install.

I had issues with safe_mode during the install but finally got them resolved and got through the installation with all green check marks. I resolved the issues by deleting the trouble directories (core/cache/setup and core/cache/setup/smarty), manually recreating them in ssh and chgrp to web. After this everything installed fine.

Upon completion it loads the manager directory and brings me to a blank white page.

I have followed these instructions, but it isn’t doing anything.

Help Please!

I am having exactly the same problem. The most frustrating thing is that I had it working for a test site on the subdomain last week before I do the actual site for real.

Now I am stucked... Please help!

Nope, that’s not the issue I’m having. I checked my config.inc.php and all my ’_path’s are already absolute.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Sorry, didn’t notice you said safe_mode was on and could not be disabled. Revolution will not support environments with safe_mode enabled.

im have the same issue fresh install of modx rev and have a blank manager page, however, if i disconnect the network card i have success. Any ideas?? As this is realy driving me crazy....

everything works if you disconnect your network card?

And by disconnect do you mean just disconnect from a network of physically remove the network card from the computer, and is the computer with the network card the server or the client?
