Hello,
I just made a website and want to use the option friendly url. I already checked on the forum for the code, i tried but did not succeed.
Can someone please tell me in steps how to do this, i am beginning to understand en like ModX. Making a .htaccess for the friendly url is a big problem for me, i hope anyone can help me.

If you’re using a Linux/Apache web server environment, just rename the ht.access file to .htaccess.
The only other thing you need to do is if your MODx is installed in a subdirectory, like public_html/modx. In that case, you need to edit the RewriteBase line in the .htaccess file to be /modx instead of just /
