Package browser shows no results (Revo 2.0.4 pl2)

Hi Everyone.

I developed several websites in Evolution, this is my first attempt in Revolution.
I installed Revolution 2.0.4 pl2 on my local hard-drive using Xampp (on a Windows 7 machine)
The installation went swiftly and without any errors.

But when I tried to download some Add-ons (e.g. wayfinder) than I get no results.
I do see which are the most downloaded. But when I click on one of them, the list gets blank.
So I can not select any package to download. I did not find any error in the error-log.

Does anyone have a clue?
I searched the forum for similar issues, but could not find any.

Aaaahhh.... I should have read the documentation more thoroughly !!!
It is stated clearly that you should have cURL installed on your webserver.
I don’t think this is the case for my Xampp installation.

correct me if I am wrong....
