When duplicating resources assigned Resource Groups aren't duplicated

I have a resource that belongs to a Resource Group called Protected.

When I duplicate this resource in MODx Revolution 2.0.4-pl2 the duplicated item is not part of the Protected Resource Group.

Is this the intended behaviour?
