I need to copy a MODx website (9.6.1) from my server back to localhost. Everything has gone well except that the localhost copy does not show the QuickEdit facilities on preview. The QuickEdit module is in the localhost copy and is not disabled. Any thoughts?

First thought check Resource URL path: /assets/
      Clear cache...

Then when it works, disable all plugins, clear cache again and
upgrade to 0963 or EVO with QuickManager!

I see that O963 etc. uses QuickEdit and that EVO uses QuickManager. What is the advantage? It seems to me to be a backward move.

As far as I understand it QuickEdit wasn’t being maintained, it wasn’t as powerful, it used/left invalid code if you failed to logout or something.

QuickManager is more powerful and allows access to TV. It uses standard code so using it isn’t going to leave invalid code behind.

I removed QE from all my sites, but QM I am actually leaving. Granted in most cases I have disabled it as it get’s in the way some times, but I think they are fixing that in 1.0.1
