I’m using a Gallery call which loads a bunch of thumbnails. Problem is, even though it’s being called cached, it takes a while for the images to pop up.
Is there a way to force the images to preload?
I tried a jquery page_effect to fade in the div, but the fade starts BEFORE the images are loaded.
I’m calling it with
<div id="page_effect" style="display:none;">
and
$(document).ready(function(){
$('#page_effect').fadeIn(2000);
});
How can I make the fade start AFTER all images have loaded?
Also -- how can I trigger a jquery fade-out when someone goes to a new page? I.e., leaves the current page?
I wouldn’t mind a nice fade-out/fade-in effect between all pages.
