    Hi

    I have set up a jump menu on a products page that sorts products according to their tags. It works great, but when you navigate to the second page of products the jump menu doesn’t work any more. For some reason it’s not bringing in the Ditto call. Since it’s the same template and the same chunk tag I’m at a loss as to why the Ditto call isn’t working. I can’t imagine that pagination would be able to effect this, but I’m no MODx Guru.... yet!

    The site is using v1.0.3
    You can see the page live at: http://www.massagecenters.com/products

    The Sort Products menu on the top right.

    Below is the jump menu code.

    <div class="tag-menu-wrapper">
        <div class="tag-menu">
            <form action="#" onsubmit="return false" method="post"class="basic-form" id="tagForm">
                <fieldset>
                    <legend style="display:none;">Sort Products</legend>
                        <label>Sort Products</label>
                        <select name="goto" onChange="jumpTo(this);">
                        <option value="please choose one">Please choose one</option>
                        [!Ditto? &parents=`26` &tpl=`tag-menu-option` &tagData=`product-tags` &sortBy=`tags` &sortDir=`ASC`!]
                        </select>
                </fieldset>
            </form>
          </div><!-- /tag-menu -->
    </div><!-- /tag-menu-wrapper -->

    Thanks for any help offered!

      Works for me on consecutively ’jumped’ pages in Chrome on a Mac smiley

        I’m on a PC and I’ve checked it in Firefox, Safari, IE and Opera. I get the same results in each one.
        I just can’t see this as a browser issue. When I looked at the source code the option tags that should have been brought in by Ditto weren’t there.

          Definitely works for me, see screen grabs.
          Maybe a caching issue?

            Thanks, for the visual confirmation. But I don’t see how caching can be the issue since I finished the project a while ago and though I occasionally visit it in firefox it couldn’t have been cached in the other browsers. I won’t be able to see it in chrome until tomorrow, but I am curious to check it out.

            If it is a browser issue why would it work on the first page? AND why wouldn’t the code show up in the source code ---and even if it is the issue how would I go about solving the problem?

            As a side note, the client just added more products today thus causing the second page.

            Not sure how to proceed.

              I checked it in Chrome (on a PC, with cache cleared) and the drop down jump menu still doesn’t work for me.
              I’d like to explore some other possibilities as to why the menu won’t work on the second page, but I’m at a loss.
              Should I be posting this in "Module, Plugin & Snippet Usage"? It seems to me like the Ditto call isn’t parsing.
              @bunk58 are you able to check it in a browser other than chrome? or on a PC?

              Help please!
              Thanks ~Jules

                It works fine in FFox 3.6 & Safari 5 on a Mac.
                Also fine in IE7 on a PC.

                  @bunk58 thank you for checking:-)
                  I went into ie7 and cleared everything and I still can’t see the jump menu on the second page. Do you guys in the UK get extra special browser rendering or what! LOL

                  My clients can’t see the jump menu either. I’m at a loss as to how to resolve this, do you have any suggestions?

                    I misunderstood your problem, I really must read the posts more carefully rolleyes.
                    It doesn’t work if you click the pagination link to page 2.
                    Try adding a unique id to each Ditto call e.g.
                    [!Ditto? &id=`main` ....
                    !Ditto? &id=`jump` ....

                    That should work.

                      No problem @bunk58, no doubt you’re reading a lot of different threads and I am happy/grateful to get help.
                      Your solution worked perfectly and I’m all set, thank you so much:-)

                      Cheers!
