Can I turn 'horizona'l to 'vertical' navigation in Modxhost template?

I am using the Modxhost template that comes with the installation of Modx. I find this template great to use but I was wondering if I can move the horizontal navigation over to the left and make it a vertical? Will that take a lot of configuration?

thanks,
Daniel

You have all kinds of flexibility to do whatever you want with your templates (you might get tired of people saying that). Unlike some CMS’s (namely Drupal), you can easily display any number of menus where-ever and however you want: all you need to do is to customize your CSS so that the generated HTML gets formatted how you want. There is no magic button to make your navigation menu move from the top to the side of your page, just like there is no magic one-solution-fits-all CSS rule that does it.

If you want to grasp how this works, I recommend making a copy of one of the built-in templates and then try customizing the CSS that controls it -- usually all of a template’s assets get saved into a sub-folder in assets/templates.
