I am running Evolution (1.0.3) with content_history(0.2.4.x) plugin and I am looking for your help with regards to TV’s and document change reason.
Every document within our site has an ’editReason’ template variable. This would be used as a short description of the change(s) made.
What I would like to do, if possible is :-
1. On edit resource, delete to contents of said template variable.
2. On "Save", check the template variable has been filled in and only save when this TV has a value.
Is this actually possible?
I think I need some sort of script for the ’ondocformsave’ and ’ondocprerender’ triggers, but I am relatively new to MODx and would appreciate any help.
