Color Picker TV?

Hi there,

I’m trying to achieve something, which may be fairly straightforward, or way too difficult.

Basically, I want the user to be able to use a color picker (like http://www.eyecon.ro/colorpicker/) to select the color they would like for a chosen css property (in this case, the body). I can set up the TV and template so that they can manually type in ’black’, or a hex value and it works, but I’d love to incorporate a color picker. Is this possible?

For Evo there already is one built into ManagerManager.
In your mm_demo_rules chunk just un-comment ->
Create a TV with name color, type text and attach it to your template

That looks like its exactly what I’m after.

However, I’m using Revo!

Does ManagerManager come for Revo?

A colorpicker is something we really need in MODx Revo.

Question: How do I get this baby working in MODx as custom TV?

I’m just starting with revo and the whole Manager+ExtJS thing is completely new to me. The documentation is really helpful, and iI understand the php/smarty templating bit, but the ExtJS integration is way out of my field of expertise.

Is there anyone out there who wants to handle that?
