Our Homepage is the Document with ID 1.
When going to the site by typing only the domainname, you get the homepage.
But when you link back to the homepage, it shows you the friendly url (eg: homepage.html) or 1.html (if not Friendly URLs switched on).
So, there are two URLs pointing to the homepage:
1)
http://www.mysite.com/
2)
http://www.mysite.com/homepage.html
Google SEO does not like this !! This is the problem of "duplicate content".
Emptying the Document Alias is not an option because then you get 1.html back.
