hi,
I am starting the process of migrating over to modx (from phpwcms (trad. cms) and codeigniter (for bespoke stuff)) and have been piling through the (excellent) documentation for the last couple of days.
I have a full ajax site to do and am wondering if anyone can point me to any information on implementing a state framework i.e. setting up friendly urls (as in the friendly urls guide on the wiki) and hooking them into the ajax configuration (Use AJAX with modxAPI on the wiki).
thanks,
anton

You can put your AJAX backend processor code into snippets, and put the snippets in documents that have no template and no other content than the snippet call. Then use that document as the URL for the AJAX. Since the document goes through the MODx parser when the AJAX requests it, all of the MODx API functions and arrays are available to the snippet code.
