Using Reflect under Evo, blog archives could be presented by date with links to the actual posts in a nested list, e.g.

    2010
    January
    Happy New Year
    More Snow
    February
    Groundhog Day

From reading the documenation on Archivist it appears to me that dated blog archives must now be presented like this:

    2010
    January (2)
    February (1)

With the links to the actual posts presented on a "target" page.

Is there a way to make this work more like Reflect? I want the links to the post in the archive list, without using another page.

    Thanks all.

I hate to be a stuck record here, but do I understand correctly that Archivist is incapable of accomplishing this? shocked If so, maybe I should request a feature? smiley

Well, you can change the template: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Archivist.Archivist.tpl

But there doesn’t seem to be any native support for listing the items from what I can see... so yeah, file away tongue

Done. I’m sure splittingred has nothing better to do than remedy my pet peeves! wink

              Oh, don’t I ever. wink

That’s something I’d like to do to Archivist, tbh, though - allow a "displayMode" parameter that determines the structure of the display.

That said, that’s complex. tongue And I’ve got quite a few more high-priority items on the plate atm, so I doubt I’ll be able to get to this before late Spring. That said, if someone files a working patch in a Pull Request... wink

                  So do I grin

Sorry, it’s been 2 months on this and I haven’t actually done any work with Reflect since. I thought I used the default. It’s not impossible that I would have depicted it wrong in my post though. I don’t have the original call anymore - I switched to GetResources.
