Ditto pagination "next" page is not displaying other ditto call on page

Hi there I have a ditto call:

[!Ditto? &startID=`1` &tpl=`artists` &display=`8` &paginate=`1` &paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`1`!]

The pagination works a fine, however I have two ditto calls on that same page, the second is:

[!Ditto? &startID=`12` &tpl=`sidebar` &display=`7` &dateFormat=`%d/%m/%y`!]

When you click the "next" button that page doesn’t display the other ditto output.

Both containing resources have caching off...

Has anyone come across this before?
