      Which version of MODx are you using? What login snippet to you intend to use?

        Evo 1.0.4, the login has to be very simple, doesn’t matter to me what snippet, just a field where u only have to enter a password. No registration needed or smt. Next time(s) u enter that page you have access.

          No registration needed? How are these users created, then? Do you create them manually?

            The WebLogin snippet sets the session cookie to "604800" if the "remember me" checkbox is checked. You could adjust that in the assets/snippets/weblogin/weblogin.processor.inc.php file at line 367 (it uses a value from the MODx site cache-
            $c[’session.cookie.lifetime’] = "604800";

              I make 1 manual user. I’d like to make a page where people have to enter there name and emailadres once, they receive an email with the login password or i’ll display the password on screen. Then they can login and the cookie remembers it so the page will be visible without every visit they have to login again. Thats the idea.

              Oké i will test it, hope it works!

                  Im still struggling with it.

                  When i go to the page, login i go to some page. When I close my browser, open browser, go to page and then it works without login, the next day or some hours later when i go to the page i have to login again..

                  P.s. This forum also seems to have problems with cookies, it doesnt remember me.. I have to login again..
                  Is it a bug in modx / Weblogin ?

                    This forum has nothing to do with MODx. Perhaps it’s a browser setting? I have mine set to remove cookies when closing the browser, with a few specific exceptions (this forum is one exception).

                      Thought this forum was made in modx.

                      Anyway, when i close my browser, and reopen it’s ok. But tomorrow i have to login again.
                      I have tested it on FF and IE but both the same. The sessioncookie is set to over 1 year.

                      Hmm
