The issue I’m having has to do with the /manager folder. It accepts the login without issue but then it redirects me back to the login form (no errors shown).
I recently migrated the site and while it’s active (i.e. content displays correctly) I can’t login to manage anything. As you can imagine this is an issue. Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
I followed the instructions on http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Moving_Site_To_Another_Location, except for the .htaccess part (because I don’t have a .htaccess file) and everything except the manager login works. I’ve tried numerous ways to work around it but I can’t find any errors or issues. The only thing that has changed is the url from example.com/sitename/manager to newexample.com/manager. I can’t imagine this being an issue.
To note, if I enter an incorrect password it does tell me that it is incorrect. But the correct password simply redirects me back to the login form with no message.
If I am not mistaken those instruction are for Evolution and not Revolution.
Some of the things in there work for Revolution but there might be some other steps you need to take.

I missed one path when I went through that. Changing the base_url fixed it. Thanks for the updated instructions.
