    I’m about out of ideas. maybe someone else can help. I have no clue how the tables got named that way unless there’s something strange about the server or MySQL configuration. MODx just prepends the table_prefix to the standard table names (user, site_content, system_settings, etc.).

    You could try exporting the CentOS DB, dropping the problem tables from the problem install, and importing the DB from the CentOs install. Then run Setup in upgrade mode.

    Hi, I am sorry I still am not seeing what you are saying is unusual about the table names:

    mysql> use modx
    Database changed
    mysql> show tables;

      It’s just that "modx" all by itself is not a usual table name; usually it will be something like domain_modx. So seeing a reference to "modx.modx_site_content" looks a little odd at first.

        Right. Sorry that threw me. I thought you were seeing "modx.modx_site_content" as an actual table name, not a qualified reference.
