    Hello,

I’ve had a few client sites running modx with external PHP files no problem (e.g. a custom mailer script); however, for some reason, one of my sites running 1.01 with friendly URLs turned on will not allow me to run a PHP file directly without trying to include the modx site along with it. The PHP processing doesn’t work and it shows an unformatted / non-styled page. I’ve tried turning friendly URLs on and off, moved the PHP file directly into the root of the site and tried both the default htaccess file and not, but I’m not having much success.

    What gives?

        http://www.storagemaxnc.com/test.php

It really doesn’t make any sense. That test.php file only echo’s out ’testing’ yet it includes the entire modx system somehow. There are no htaccess files or anything else that I can see which would give this kind of behavior. Can anyone help out, please?

Is your "page not found" page set to be resource #1? That looks like what is happening here.
