When my cusomer uploads an image into a folder with permissions 775
it will be uploaded intop the folder with permissions 600
but this means it is not visible on the website
I don’t want to explain the customer that he has to update permissions using an ftp client
Can somebody explain what is going on, and how that i can change this

That is the permission used for the temporary uploaded files, which PHP then moves to the desired location. What the permission will be set to for the file when it is moved (on move_uploaded_file) is a server configuration issue. I don’t know if the Revo file manager attempts to chmod() the files after they are moved or not.
Ok this explains a lot,
but it would be better if the revo file manager does the necessairy things do get the permissions right...
Maybe an enhancement request??

That’s tricky because a lot of servers won’t let a script change file permissions. It’s always worth a try, though.
Ok thanks
will contact my hosting provider...
this isn’t solved.
The hosting provider works with suPHP
and i can’t get the upload permissions ok
new_folder_permissions: 755
new_file_permissions: 644
but when i upload the file it has 600 permissions
